The eye emerges as a haunting symbol of emotional anguish. Set against a vivid red background, the tear-streaked visage embodies deep sorrow and the weight of unprocessed pain. The flowing red paint captures the essence of bleeding emotions, while the stark contrast of the dark pupil draws the viewer in, inviting reflection on the struggle between inner turmoil and the need for expression. This work reveals the raw intensity of feelings that often remain said pea hidden beneath the surface.

This series explores the anger once channeled for motivation—anger that fueled me but lacked a clear purpose. My childhood was a series of misunderstandings, growing up as a northern kid in a southern neighborhood, constantly facing bullies and taunts. They said peace and unification had come, and while that may be true, remnants of what shouldn’t remain still inflict harm on the INNOCENT.
